Privacy

What byok.icu collects when you use it, and why.

Your API key

Your key is used only to run the test you start. It is not stored and is never shown on any page.

Test results are public

When you test a relay, its domain, the upstream provider, the model name and the results (score, which cases passed, timings, token counts) can appear on public result pages and the leaderboard.

Notices to our team

Each test sends our team chat a notice with the relay domain, model and score, and the country you are in. It does not include your IP address. Feedback you send through the form reaches the same chat, with your IP address.

Retest reminders

If you leave your email to be reminded to retest a relay, we keep it with that relay's result page and use it only for those reminders. To stop them or have the email deleted, email hi@byok.icu or use the feedback form at the bottom of the home page; for now we handle this by hand.

Anonymous counts

We count per day how many tests are started and finished, and how many times some buttons are used. These counts carry no IP address, cookie or other identifier.

In your browser

This browser keeps your language and theme, the relay address, provider and model you last entered (not the key), two markers (whether a test finished here, and whether you came back for another after that), and “My tests”: links and scores of the tests you ran here. Clearing this site’s data removes them.

Other services

Pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a test is started by a person, and load fonts from Google Fonts.
